Lee Adams

Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Lee Adams is an award winning Los Angeles based documentary filmmaker and journalist.  He was a host and producer of the Emmy nominated Youtube Originals series “Glad You Asked” by VOX. He is best known for his work at VICE where he created and hosted the digital documentary series “Minority Reports” which has over 30 million views and debuted as one of the top 10 trending videos in the world on youtube.  His work in front of the camera includes hosting the Spectrum Networks Game Show "The Spectrum News Challenge",  “Let Lee Explain” a sharable explainer series, Forgotten Generation a documentary profiling the youth of failing industry towns, and moderating a number of debate style round table discussions concerning a wide range of topics including the political differences between young black liberals and their conservative counterparts, and police officers dissecting police brutality and racial bias.
His work behind the camera includes, producing and directing both the Emmy-nominated VICELAND series “Weediquette,” and the award winning sports docu-series “Red Cards.” He is an award wining voice over artist and script writer working with clients like Sony Music Entertainment, and most recently he has joined the roster of creators and filmmakers at Afterhrs Content Studio. 
Lee has built his career on crafting universal stories around unique characters that make us understand more about ourselves, our country, and the human experience. And  continues to seek new opportunities to tell both complex and nuanced stories that start conversations with the space for new perspectives.
